Ada, My Most Beloved Dog. 30.07.2005 - 17.06.2020

It’s unfair. And more than painful. When you take a puppy or adopt a dog – no matter the age – you know that this moment will happen. And you know that it will hurt like hell. You do it for those special moments that only a person with pets can understand. If someone laughs or doesn’t understand what you feel when your dog dies, that person either doesn’t have a pet to know the feeling, or it lacks some of the human emotions. It’s too damn unfair. Their pain, their short lives, the hole that they leave behind, the last moments.

Ada made me love small dogs. She was one of the smartest dogs that I have ever seen. A rebel one, crazy, but that gave so much love. And she made me smile every single day, no matter what my mood was. And although she stayed with us so little, we felt that we knew her since the beginning.

My dearest Ada, I don’t know where I can find another dog like you. And you will always be alive in our souls.
